Although the company's composition has changed quite a bit since its humble beginnings on a bar-b-q table, the focus has not. Work hard, be good to people, do business with people you like and like you, and have fun. When you do something you like and have passion for it, people notice.
TURNkey is filled with people who love their jobs. Here's a little bit about some of our key personnel:
David Kolssak - Founder and President
Mr. Kolssak graduated from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management with a BS in Management. Although much of the education he received doesn't really apply to everyday life, the quantitative, analytic approach to business has helped his conceptual mind be more practical. David is a proud member of Sigma Chi Fraternity where he learned how to do all of those things mom told you not to. However, it is at this fraternity where he was introduced to the love of his life - Melissa. David likes to say that he got married first and dated Melissa for 10 years until having children. Mr. Kolssak is blessed with his two sons, David II and Chase. Today Mr. Kolssak enjoys cultivating new ideas and working with those on his staff.
Mr. Kolssak is continually humbled by the great ideas and direction that the people who make up TURNkey. David is the principal of the company and is responsible for the corporate focus, culture and strategic direction. Mr. Kolssak also sits on the board of Chicago Executive Airport where he serves as a director.
Ryan Erklin - Director of Information Technologies
Mr. Erklin has always been the 'go-to' guy in his family who everyone turned to when their computer, tape player, tv, stereo or bicycle broke. Ryan is a very personable and knowledgeable individual who listens first, ponders second, researches third, and speaks last. He is constantly pushing himself to learn the best ways to do things and is not afraid to admit when he doesn't completely know the answer to a question. Mr. Erklin is ideally suited for his position as people respect him, his knowledge and his methods. TURNkey is delighted to have given Ryan his first job in the technological field and has been grateful to see his natural aptitude develop into a thriving career.
Ryan is married to his lovely wife, Bella. In his spare time, Ryan is an avid Sox and Bears fan. Mr. Erklin is a 'Chicago' guy who loves to discover new venues where his family and friends can enjoy good food, good drink and great atmosphere. If you want to know where the young, hip and trendy are hanging- ask Ryan.
By no means are these the only key people at TURNkey but if we posted all of their names it would leave us vulnerable to head hunters... that just wouldn't be smart.
